I see a young guy that's came through lots of stuff and he's came out of top. I smile when I know that right now I'm where I want to be in life I know that due to my hard work, dedication and love for those around me I've made myself and a lot of people happy.

Fantastic question,
Thank you.

I am 56. I went to Vietnam when I was 19. I have PTSD and this causes me to be stuck mentally in the frame of mind of when I was 19 to early 20's. Mentally I feel like I am around 22. When I look in a mirror, I see someone that could not possibly be me, but I realize that it is. Then I think how sad it is that young people really have no idea how fast time goes by. Live each day as fully as you can. This is not a rehearsal. This is it.

Lol... well I see the most beautif... just kidding (a. because I'm not beautiful, b. because I read your question properly =D)

I used to not like myself very much - people bullied me and made me feel fairly worthless, and just general stuff like that.

But since then, I have:
* volunteered at the CCCC (Cleveland Child Contact Centre - where parents and grandparents have supervised contact with their (grand)children - where I used to have to go and see my Dad when I was younger);
* raised quite a lot of money for charity (organising a big raffle, helping bake and sell cakes, abseiling from the Baltic Flour Mill in Gateshead - all for the RNIB, and doing a sponsored walk for Zoe's Place (children's hospice) - amongst other things!);
* begun a degree in Occupational Therapy so that I can help people as a career;
* met a person that I want to spend my life with (I'm young, but I am quite mature for my age!);
* met people who obviously value me - someone who I've only seen on a few occasions said she feels like she's known me for a long time, and I'm great to talk to (I'm slightly younger than her eldest child!)...

Okay, I could probably go on, but you get the idea. I feel that although there will always be bullies and people who want me to fail, I am doing my best to help others and I am happy! And that's all that matters. I know now that some of those bullies will remain unhappy for many years to come - not because I've wished it upon them, but because that's how they've chosen to lead their lives.

=D

You must have broken a few mirrors in your time if that's how many years bad luck you are going to have?!

I look in the mirror and what do I see
An old woman looking back at me
With wrinkles all over my face
And a body that is out of place
Shades of gray hair well earned
From lessons well learned
I raised a family of seven
Not worried what might have been
I just thanked God for their health
For they are my wealth
I am a Mother, A Grand and a Great
And now only God holds my fate

i examine out myself and do some variations the following and there, so i must have considered the undesirable issues first. If i look and by no skill make any variations in any respect, it signifies that i love it and that i might want to easily stare at my mirrored image for a at the same time as lol i look contained in the reflect everytime I bypass it... i ask your self if i'm narcissistic.

This comfortable old face is reliable and can be trusted. I know this guy, but he is somehow older than I. He looks as though he's truly lived. I'm sure he has a story or two to tell. He tips his hat to the ladies and removes it in elevators and at other times a lady is present . He seems warm and friendly. I like him.

I see someone who is guilty of a lot of terrible things, someone who has done things that no one but she and God and person involved will ever know or understand. She has lost herself in everything she hates, and somehow, she has pulled herself out of all the destruction she surrounded herself in and rebuilt her life on God's foundations, where she is safe, even though she's still stupid and still does terrible things she regrets. I see someone I love very much and no matter how many terrible, unforgivable things she does, i forgive her and i love her just the same.

What I see in my mirror is not the image of myself that I have in my head. My head says I'm about 26 and the mirror says 62!
