I'm doing a project for my AT class where i have to find the risks of zoos. HELP!

Other than an animal escaping off the property there really are no risks. Other than that your risks are going to be no different than other amusement parks, food places, retail stores, etc etc etc.

For the most part the USDA and other orginizations have a very tight control on zoos. Take diseases for example, when an animal comes in from another zoo or another country they are required to go through a month of quarintine. They even go as far as to wear full haz-mat gear with some animals or even change shoes before they go home to keep things under control.

So for the most part the only risk that would be different than other parks, stores, eateries, etc would be if an animal got out.
