There's no right to health care in the Constitution. The Founders, 18th century men all, would've found the concept bizarre, to say the least.
The right to health care is a socialist concept. It says you have the right to other people's hard work without anything given in exchange.

Wow! The level of ignorance about what the Constitution says and doesn't say is amazingly displayed in some of these answers.
First, the Constitution applies to Federal government, not state or local. Your state gov't can provide healthcare if it wishes to, provided it doesn't violate that states constitution.
Second, taxation is addressed in the main body of the Constitution plus the 16th Amendment.
Anything the Federal gov't is not authorized to do per the US Constitution is reserved to the states or the people. Read the 9th and 10th Amendments.
All this being said, somehow programs SS, Medicare, Dept. of Education, etc. have all been found to be Constitutional. God knows how because there's nothing in the US Constitution to authorize the gov't to do these things.

Get ooooout! No friggin way! It MUST be in there somewhere (although I have yet to find it) because the 'progressives' insist it is. I believe our collective failure is the lack of 'liberal insight' to read between the lines to draw the correct interpretation (the liberal one) that all the greedy capitalists need to provide for the lazy....err, sorry--the 'motivationally challenged' individuals of our society.....and/or other societies who send their 'motivationally-challenged' here in violation of our laws.
Surely our Founding Fathers didn't draft the Constitution believing that 'all men are created equal' (remember that little phrase from the Declaration of Independence?) to mean they all have an equal opportunity to succeed if they have the motivation. They meant, if anyone refuses to help himself....the US Goverment will provide everything for you at the expense of the citizens.
At least that is what they are telling us. I guess we should study more.

This country and the world would be much better off if our elected officials went back to the original meaning of the constitution.

That's OK because if Hillary has her way she'll have it slipped in there somewhere in very fine print of course.
Anyway I don't think Hillary Clinton is too concerned these days with our Constitution or doing things by the book.
Doing things HER way is all she's concerned about and everything else is irrelevant.

I agree with the Worthless Recruit, on health care. There sure are better ways of dealing with health care in this country, and much better than letting the government or Hillary dictate what your needs are.

No mention of income tax anywhere either . Did you see the property tax section of the constitution . Originally only commerce was to be taxed . Sales tax . Import and export tariffs .
So why do we have so many taxes if we are not going to let people keep their money then you must care for them .

"In the US Constitution (the greatest document written by Man)"
It wasn't even in the top 100.
" there's no mention of "free healthcare""
There's no mention of the internet, toll-bridges, rednecks or illiterate Presidents either. That doesn't mean that they're not realities of life.
"Who are you gonna stick with: the Founding Fathers, or.......... Hillary?"
Oh, the old dead guys who didn't have clue one about life in 2007, of course.
What do you think?
