As long as you guys are both over the age of consent, (18) and are interested in each other, then I don't see anything wrong with it. It's only unlawful if you are using her to get to something, blackmail, or cheating on your wife. Well... cheating is not illegal, but it should be.
BTW, just becz your work says that you can't date inside the company, don't let that stop you from love. If you like this person, do it, IT IS NOT ILLEGAL, what are they going to do, fire you? That would be wrong. This country has freedom of speech, press, and opinion... if they did that, that would probably infringe on your rights, because you have the right to date somebody, which somehow falls under one of the above categories... or so I have heard.

generally, no, it is not against the law. Some companies have policies about relationships in the office, but those are usually more towards married couples than dating ones.
But if you ever break up with her, it may be difficult for you both to have to see each other at work all the time.

Funny as it seems, most businesses have more rules about married couples working at the same place than dating couples. Some frown on co-workers having relationships, especially if one is in supervision. I worked at a plant that did not allow married couples to work the same shift. We had 3 couples that just didn't tell the company they were married, even though everyone knew they were. I guess if you keep it professional in the workplace, they ignore it.

Against the law, NO but it is against the code of ethics. I've dated within the same employment and it NEVER worked out. I now own my own business and I refuse to date any employees. They are subject to getting more than the other employees and there for it can cause trouble.

Nothing in the law forbids it.
Company policy might, however.
Better check with your company policy to see what is written.

it all depends on the company. Many companies have nonfraternization clauses in their company rules that prevent dating inside the company. check with your HR department to find out how you stand.

It's hardly against the law, but it is really stupid. The worst idea possible.
