NO $598s ENOUGH` I WOULDNT BOTHER STICKING LABLES ON`?

the only way i would pay that much for it is if i had a hdtv and a good dvd player that way i get the full use of the hd dvd's otherwise theres not really any use having hd dvds without being able to watch in hd.

The age of the computer can affect the burn. Easier to by a dvd writer for about £40 to £80 pounds. You will get burning software to use with it. Depends if you have got a ide cable or sato cable in your computer. It is easy to change put dvd writer in my old computer which was about 7 years old at the time had to upgrade memory to be able to burn dvd.

It depends what you plant to do with this DVD rewritter. Do you plan to sell the dvds? If so then yes you will profit plentty. HD is the new thing out on the market.

no cuz like every other electronic device that comes out, the price will eventually come down. hd dvd movies aint goin n e where for a while. im sure u can wait...

Not unless I would actually burn enough to make it worth while. For how many dvd's I buy, I could just buy 2 copies and it would be cheaper.

Unless you're a professional video editor, no way. Its not worth until the format wars are over. Or unless you've just got lots of cash, then you might as well.

The cost of the drive is not the issue. The media is too expensive right now.

someday soon the movie folks will figure out how to defeat the HD re-writer and protect their copyright.
