Good on you, girl. Only today I've said to Yahoo that they need to understand our (UK) phrases, traditions, word meanings etc., before they remove our questions willy-nilly (ooh, I shouldn't have said that should I.) It is quite obvious by some of the answers, even now, that they are not aware of what "poppy day" means. Anyway, yes I wear mine with great pride and that includes remembering our American friends..

Yes and with pride! My grandfather was in the First World War, my father in the Second World War and fortunately they came back safe unlike so many others. So yes I wear my poppy with pride!

Of course... we needto remember the poor old fellas tthat fought for us, not flippin mug em !!
Its a disgrace how we look after our aged vets in the UK, a poppy is the least i can do, will be in London on the 11th too.

I did buy two poppies actually at seperate times and wore it on my bag but i lost both of them... I lost one on the bus im pretty sure of it and the other i have no clue! but i did buy two! thoughts are with them. :-)
