I don't let others hurt me. Usually its the decisions I make or the choices I make that in the end hurt me.

My dad. He doesn't understand how hard it is for me to lose weight after having my baby and contines to call me fat thinking that he is encouraging me to lose weight when in reality it does nothing but hurt.

Everybody and life has been great for a while. I did see my uncle today and he ignored me on purpose.

My kids.

*I'm a single dad.

*Their mom and I were discussing how all of us were going to celebrate their birthdays this year (their mom divorced me about two years ago).

*The kids kept going on about how they wanted to celebrate with their mom.

**This was okay, by me.

*They then kept going on about how they "hated" me, and how they didn't want to spend any more time with me than they had to.

*Their mom totally screwed them up last year:

**My daughter's back with me (court order).

**My son's back with me, because his mom "couldn't handle him".

Not wanting to spend time with me is cool, but "hating" me?

**I don't date.

**I don't "go out".

**I do all of the stuff both parents normally do for their kids (i.e., cook, clean, check homework, doctor/dentist appointments, subsidize/shuttle them to extracurricular activities, etc.)

*It's all about the kids.

Go figure ...
