Do I have a chance at getting accepted to a good music school?

Question

I have been playing the viola since a very early age, and have played in numerous youth orchestras across the years. I am no longer in a community youth orchestra, but am in my school orchestra. I am seriously considering becoming a professional violist.
I would love to go IU Jacobs or Denver U Music School.
Any tips or thoughts?

All you can do is audition and find out. You never know what a school is looking for in candidates at any given time.
