In a civil suit that is settled, part of the settlement is, a person is to return land. So that person signs a quick claim of that land to winner of the civil suit. The question is, when there is second half rent due for that land and theres no mention of rent to go to the seller in the settlement, who is to receive the second half rent?

On any agreements or contracts of the rental land, there wasn't anything on when each half was due.

The rent should go to the owner of the property at the time it is due. May have already been collected. Is there a rental agreement with due dates for payment of rent?
