I'm a Texan. When I go over to Louisiana to go to the casinos or whatever I always eat some fried frog legs. They are not what you think. They are not toads or tadpoles. They are from Bullfrogs. Some of them are big enough to eat your pet dog. They actually do taste like chicken. Not a staple in my house but they are good to eat occasionally.

Yes, when I was 12 years old. My cousin and I caught the frogs, he skinned them out, and the family fried them and we had a delicious treat. Tastes like very young and tender chicken.

YES! It is common in our province to eat frogs, with their legs of course, and they taste great...especially cooked with soup called "tinolang tugak" and fried with some ground pork and the frog's own meat stuffed inside it's stomach called "betute"

I love them. Getting a bit pricy lately. I think they resemble chicken but with a slightly sweeter taste. The larger they are, the tougher they seem. I like #2 size. I coat them with a fine flour and fry. Many people think they are "gamey" tasting. For those individuals, you can soak them in milk for a couple hours and it will take that taste away.
