I am considering inviting my Egyptian friend to come home with me for Thanksgiving dinner. My parents live a few hours away. Last year he went to a friend's home for the holiday and the international students tend to celebrate it with American families. We are friends now. He has said that if he was ready and able to be in a serious relationship it would be with me (he cites money and that we have not met each other’s families as reasons why he cannot commit right now). Recently he told a friend that he is incredibly attracted to me and is afraid of losing me. I want to bring him with me, especially since he will be alone, but I am not sure how he would take the invite. Should I invite him platonically (if we can be that) or would he take it as a step in the commitment direction – which I am not sure if of us are ready for? In other words, would this be considered a big thing in Egyptian culture?

For Thanksgiving we've long previous to my mothers and dads or his mothers and dads so it is not all jointly. there is frequently some dozen human beings. we've under no circumstances used paper plates. My mom does not actually have a dishwasher yet we use actual plates. i do no longer see something incorrect with it (assuming this is an off-the-cuff affair) yet i'm no longer able to think of loading a flimsy paper plate with heavy turkey and dressing and fixings. how briskly could gravy leak by? in the event that they're truly solid paper plates (like chinet) then it may paintings. i think of the designs make it nicer than common white too ;-)

Very impotent Note: if you want to make him your man just point out the food you have cooked yourself ( not your mother or anther person)

if you are 100% sure about your feelings cook his fevorit dish

Yes ! you can invite them but don't throw the food on each other like people usually do on THANKSGIVING day. Don't waste the food provided to you by ALLAH.

Always ask Allah for his blessings !.
