I heard this conspiracy?

I heard that the reason why Americans are being systematically dumbed down is because our gov doesn't want us to make educated political decisions. They WANT to keep us in the dark.
What do you think?

So i assume, what you've been referring to, is in regards to the disastrous educational system in America,
specially during this presidency!!

We educated kids in a one room school house with no air or carpets or indoor bathrooms and you mean to tell me that we can not do it today .
The reason is educated workers tend to be more difficult to handle and those who do not read or write well or do math are easy to cheat on payday and you can convince them they need to pay a good portion of their paycheck for the health coverage your brother -in -law is peddling .
besides how many bag boys need to read If you can put a colored puzzle together you can stock shelves .

I did not know that Marines needed to read and write to pull the trigger and kick down doors . how many fruit pickers do you want reading Freud on their break .
You want them smoking some weed to relieve the pain in their back and get them laughing about how silly it is that they are stuck picking apples all day for 40 bucks . That pays for a few tacos some beer and weed so they show up again the next day .

We do not need educated people to do most jobs .
One supervisor who can read is enough to run 20 workers and make sure things get done right . Just because you do not understand how to build the Mri Machine does not mean you can not press the colored green button to start it and the colored red Button to stop it . If the needle is to close to the red line call me . If it goes above 200 psi give me a call . Then I can go to the relief valve and open it . Or check to see what the problem is .
I do not need to stand over it . Thats some idiots job .

We need lots of idiots to press buttons , stack stuff and deliver it .

The powerful elite have been doing this since the Woodrow Wilson era. When America was isolationist prior to WWI, there was a PR campaign to get Americans charged up to hate Germans and enter the war. After that, it was the Red Scare. They do not think the American masses are smart enough to make decisions for themselves. This is true of all governments, actually, not just the US. In democracies, they use propaganda. In totalitarian regimes, they just bludgeon people.

although it sounds good, I don't think it is the case. It is simply the results of the inefficiency of the government run education system. The lack of accountability of educators and the politically correctness are killing us. No answers are wrong now, you get credit for trying. How stupid is that? You can't hurt little Johnny's self esteem by telling him he got the incorrect answer. What a crock.

I wouldn't say its a conspiracy, I would say its happening right before our eyes. The eventual result is complete and total dependency on the Government. The SCHIP is a prime example. Little by little the government is taking away our liberties and cramming propaganda down kids throats in school. We need to take back the control of the federal government. They should fear us not us fear them!

The democrats have run the education system for over 40 years.

The democrats now are border line socialists, so you have to ask yourself what is the first thing done to control the population. It is called education.

If you notice they do not teach history or civics anymore. Why is that ?? The less people know about their government the better for them (not the population)

So the government can say what ever they want and do what ever they want because no one knows any difference.

Just look at the younger population that will be voting, what and who are they voting for??? They have no clue except sound bites. That is a shame.

But this is what the democrats want. Just like giving illegals drivers licenses, that then gives them the power to vote.

the modern US population has shown itself to be probably the easiest manipulated in the world -with the exception of none.

Sounds like a whacked out theory to me...although I must say I understand how this conspiracy could have come about.
Education in this country has been taking so many hits for the past several years.
