It can be funny at times, but those times are rare. Johnny Carson did some good slapstick, but that's because it was combined with dry humor, which I love. For example, when he would pretend to be giving a "heart to heart chat" as though he's doing a commercial about diarrhea, and then a pie would hit him in the face. That was pretty funny. Otherwise, I can't stand it. You couldn't pay me to watch the Three Stooges.
My wife loves slapstick, which I don't understand, but she hates "I Love Lucy," so that's good.

Sure I do.. It's good clean fun. For example, the Three Stooges are funny, at least to guys. Women seem not to like slapstick as much.
