My sister keeps getting on my computer and downloading retarded crap so i decided to put passwords on all of my user accounts but when i tried it said they are already password protected so my q is how do i change the passwords if i dont know the ones that are stored now???

to do so you must be able to login as administrator
then go to control panel select user accounts
select the account you want to modify remove it's password protection and then reassigh password protection to it using a new password
to be safe in future make a password rescue disk
for instructions to it look in "help and support" by searching

If you are the computer administrator, go to Start/Control Panel/User Accounts and simply change your sisters account to limited. You can then select what she can do on that account. Also, assign a password to your admin account so that no one but you can access it.

well first off go to were you got the computer or on the web to see if there is a built in password to fix it. if they dont no what to do or if the web cant give you an answer ask your parents if they installed a password to ur computer and if they dont no tell ur rents that ur sister is bugging u and is playing with UR property and you've told her to stop many times and tell them and hopefully they will dell with it

If in Vista, make a password disk on a flash drive or cd, just to be safe.
