People complain about the war in Iraq, how it's gone on too long, ruined too many lives, the opponent is too hard. The war on drugs has been giogn on much longer, ruined more lives than can be counted, costs a ton of money, and is pretty much a war they can't be won as there is really no enemy that can be pinponited, why don't people want to end the war on drugs but everyone wants to end teh war in iraq?

Since the war on drugs started...too many years ago to count....it's been a failure. More and more new and home-made drugs have made their ways into our society. I'd be really happy if they could get rid of crack and meth....my neighborhood's become taken over by users of those....and it's not a pretty picture at all.

Everything starts with self.
People will continue to look outside themselves to afford blame and shame.
There is none actually in truth.

One needs to address what is within self. What is the inner becomes the outer, and what is the outer becomes the inner.

All is connected. To "think" one can find a "cure" a "fix" a "solution" to the worlds problems such as distribution of food and money. Peace within the body and heart and mind.
Power over, control of, is insane.
It will not come from the mind of man.

One needs to look within, when the peace that passeth all understanding is yours, that is what you will give.
When the love that passeth all understanding is within you, that is what you will give.

All need to look at self, be responsible, if one really knew what this "world" was about, yes, some would stay separated out, unconnected to all that is, but most would "pick up the gauntlet" or "take up the torch" to make this the heaven on earth it is under all the mindfulness.

Think about it awhile, then feel what it is you really do know, which you have pushed down deep, so you don't need to "show up" "grow up" and live responsibly. Life is not "fun park" doing whatever, saying whatever.

Real life is taking responsiblity for your existence.

Are you up for it,
or are you going to continue to "swing around in the trees" hooting at this, and hooting at that.

Peace in the heart.

Great question
