Yes. Either you realize that marijuana is non-toxic with less side effects then most any other drug out there, is not physically addictive and the plant has many legitimate uses besides it's THC content (use of hemp fiber and making paper being the biggest ones).

Or you can still believe that marijuana use is a bad thing, but look at the few countries where marijuana is legal such as the Netherlands and realize that they have less drug use then the US. Then you can only come to the conclusion that the war on drugs is a failure and you might as well legalize it anyway since it is does nothing to actually stop or slow down marijuana use.

Either way you look at it, the illegalization of marijuana has to be one of the dumbest enforced laws ever conceived. Prohibition never worked and neither does the war on drugs.

Yes it should,
1.Liberty: people deserve freedom to use marijuana.
2.Cost: keeping marijuana illegal is expensive.
3.Failure: prohibition doesn't help.

Medicinal use: Marijuana can be used as medicine because it helps to stimulate apetite and relieve nausea in cancer and AIDS patients.

Hemp: The hemp plant is a valuable natural resource. Legalizing marijuana would eliminate the confusion surrounding hemp and allow us to take advantage of hemp's agricultural and industrial uses.

Religious Use:Some religions instruct their followers to use marijuana. Just like Christianity and Judaism instruct their followers to drink wine on certain occaisions, some Hindus, Buddhists, Rastafarians, and members of other religions use marijuana as part of their spiritual and religious ceremonies. These people deserve the freedom to practice their religion as they see fit. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution says that the government cannot 'prohibit the free exercise' of religion, and so marijuana should be legal.

I wouldn't be in favor to legal like a candy bar but maybe and age limit and amount. Such as 60 years old and a pound or something.
Maybe even start the age out at 90 an see how that goes.
I wouldn't want kids buying selling or doing it but if your 90 or 100 years old i couldn't really care less.
Just dont do it around me.

yes. it should have been years ago. its definitely on the low end of the drug spectrum. the only reason it hasnt been, is our government will not admit they were wrong.
