Since when was 1 pint equal to half a litre ?

In my local cost-cutter i pay just £0.75 for a half litre of decent lager. I can get rubbish beer even cheaper. Probably explains why my local pubs are usually almost empty.

Probably because most of our petrol comes from Scotland(I think), and as a wee Scottish wifie, I would expect a wee discount. Same difference, I pay four and a half quid for ciggies and we have a factory not twenty miles away!!!!
