I sure do, the one that is working should be reported, they are taking our money. 2500.00, how is that possible? I make 888.00 per month on disability and can't get any other help on medicaid for all my health care I have to have. I am 17.00 over the income limit, that doesn't make sense to me.
The immigrants are also taking our money left and right getting medicaid and food stamps
The druggies did this by choice, we didn't become sick and disabled by choice, the immigrant came here by choice, we didn't bring them and yet they all get the taxes we pay in.
I can't believe workman's comp. paid anything on this, there had to be a good reason and accident for that.
Yes is it definitely our business!!!!!!!!......xx

I worked full time from the age of 17 until 34 at a well-known governmental aeronautic company and publishing company before becoming completely disabled. I have a monthly benefit of almost $1K a month since 1994 with medical insurance. I bought my own small, modest home, have no children, outstanding debts, bad habits, and volunteer.
Yet 2 1/2 weeks ago two sheriffs came to my home and asked to search it due to a neighbor complaint that I was "a drug dealer." I moved 55 miles from my family 2 years ago and have made 2 new friends here in town and have no car. Obviously, this neighbor feels that because he does work outside the home while I do not, I must be doing something wrong, illegal and dishonest to society enough to make such an extreme judgment. The sheriffs apologized, thanked me for allowing my home to be ransacked for nothing and now no one will even wave hello when I get my mail.
My point is I do see both sides of the coin but most of the time you don't need to keep flipping it until the side you want to land face up happens. I'd say you are a hard worker and that is your strength. Don't let others distract it.

Are you kidding me? First of all the fact that she had a drug problems no matter what it was is irrevelent to him trying for President. (I am not a MCCain supporter by the way). Nancy Regan was an alcoholic. But by their use (20+) years ago, is not like they are advocating for illegal drug sales today. Funny you should bring up race, because that is what it is turning into now, which is childish. Race is not the issue at hand it is WHO can represent our country throughout the world nations. Economy, education and health care wont change no matter who is president, a president only has so many rights, congress makes those changes. He/she only will have the power of the pen in VETO. Please educate yurself in the judicial system. In regards to Obama's REV, which I am assuming you were relating to: "Birds of a feather flock together"! And if he associates himself with someone who not only put down a race, but a country. And for the past 20 yesrs he has never spoke to him/ or seperated himself from him, he must have a bit of liken to what he has been hearing. I personally do not go to church, but I would change church's if I didnt agree with what is being preached.. That is like saying %$#* the US. I am bi racial and married bi racial and it sickens me that blacks keep going back to we have been shunned. Unless you are 60+ years old which means you were born in the 40's you are not in that class of men/women who can speak from that experience. I work in the public school system, I see adminsitrators turn the other cheek more so on blacks. Statistically, white males are expelled more often from urban schools than blacks, as there are more blacks enrolled. Why? Are they committing more foul acts at school? No, it is your race reversal that you spoke so elloquently about.

Unfortunately this is happening every where and in every country, there are genuine people struggling to gain a access to a disability payment, and some how there is people who have been granted a disability payment, who possibly don't deserve it, and its these people who make it difficult for those who genuinely need help.
Drug & alcohol abuse affects everyone in the community. Yes its a life style choice theirs, not ours, yet we all suffer the consquences. However we need to make sure that everyone is informed about the down side of drug abuse, and this has to come through education, both within the school and in the general community, via advertisements and drug and alcohol programs etc.
Unfortunately these types of educational programs will cost, but if can stop people from making poor life style choices, then its worth it.
What annoys me is up until about five or more years ago, drug addicts (in Australia) were given their needles for free yet diabetics had to pay for their needles, thankfully that has changed, and diabetics who are registered with Diabetes Australia now get the their needles for free.
My husband has been treated rudely for wanting needles, by pharmacist/chemists until we produce his diabetes card, one pharmacist even rang our normal pharmacist (we were in Melbourne for the day) to see if we were genuine, even though we had also given a prescription for insulin at the same time, yet an obviously known drug addict was given needles with out question.
Sadly most drug addicts do not care where they leave their used needles, thus exposing the community to the danger of being pricked by the discarded needle. The local council knows where drug area's are and will go and pick up the discarded needles, at risk to their own well being.
I personally know of one young child who was pricked by a discarded needle, left in a play ground, and had to have a number blood tests, to check for HIV and Hepatitis over a period of a few months. Thankfully they were all negative.

It is true that alot of people are getting over on their employers and the government when it comes to disability but you know usually in the end these people will have something happen that makes it all blow up in their face or something will go wrong some where else, I am a firm believer that you reap what you sow so don't worry about them in the end they will get theirs. We need to just be honest and do whats right and good things will happen, having a disability is no fun but I know people who are in worse shape than me, so how can I complain. Just let it go and do your best and let God deal with the people who are running the scams, In the end they get theirs.

Yes, because I know someone first hand that started his own roofing company off of the one million dollar settlement that he got from his former employer that he sued. The reason why he sued was because he feel off the roof of the house he was working on and broke his back. However, he fell off this roof because at the time this accident occurred he was high on crack cocaine. In fact, when they took a drug test crack cocaine was in his system big time. Several years later he still a crackhead. He never learned.
Back in '04 I break my elbow at work because of someone else's carelessness and I got denied workers comp because the Communist-wealth of Virginia accused me of being "An extremely simple man" and stated that "You need to stick to jobs that you know how to do" which means manual labor jobs without ever seeing my resume and knowing that I had 5 years experience working with computers. This state made this accusation all because of my speech impairment and nothing else. Yet, this *sshole gets over a million dollars all because he can't control his addiction to crack cocaine.
I feel your pain and I know exactly where you are coming from.

i agree to point, but you have to think what has madethem go on drugs ,in most cases there is a reason,i do think there lazy and get a lot more benifits than others, there are druggies that want help but cant get it and then there some that dont want help, they have got to want to help themselves,a lot of them have on one to help them,i always say if there wasnt dealers there wouldnt be druggies,it is the dealers that want putting behind bars, the same for alcolics it is usualy something that has made them one, they cant handle life without the drink,i have son that used to be one but has been stopped for 6 years when he came to his sensors and realized it would kill him,but he had to want to stop,no matter how much you told him he would say i will stop when im ready, with the drugs they think i will have one and it starts from there untill they cant do anything about it as it is to late, with help they could, dont get me wrong here i dont like druggies but what can you do,i dont like grugs,as for the benifits i rearly think you should keep away,i know people are being denied disability that are genuine and i dont agree with that,it is all a visious circle and you alone cant do much about it,i dont think the goverment do enough about any of this

It seems like in Virginia, they give you mixed messages, they tell you in middle and high school you're not very likely to get a job if you are on drugs or have a record but when you actually start applying for jobs and working here (especially in the southwestern region) half the people employed seem to either be on drugs, have a record, or are somewhat of a shady character.

There's a good chance you are taking this too personally. I would expect there will be consequences for that individual because the cheaters usually mess up a good thing. I would stay far away from the situation so when it blows, you can't be associated with it. My ex is doing the same thing and I am not going to lower myself to his level. Time will tell.
