Have you ever done this or do you ever do this?

Well I'm in high school (grade 10) and there's so much homework to do (even on the weekend >:|) and sometimes I sit and think how strange it is that we do this work...like sometimes I feel like I won't remember this 10 years from now! lol And then sometimes I daydream about how cool it would be if I like...lived in San Francisco and went shopping every day or went out and just hung out with wildlife or something. Do you ever do this and is it normal?

And when I ask my parents about high school they never seem to have much to say...they don't have big stories of how great it is...so is it really the "best years of your life?"

Teachers always say it's for college...and there's another thing...college...I don't even know what I'll do...like what college or anything...I might just go to community college...

so is this just the interesting life of a 15 year old lol

... well my daughter is 16 and she is going through the same thing ... she daydreams a lot .. but then she breaks herself out of it by taking short breaks, and goes back and gets her stuff done....
... i too was a daydreamer in high school.... i didn't think it would ever end ...looking back, i would say those were the roughest 4 years of my life .... you do so much growing during those 4 high school years and you go through so many emotional changes .... it does get better ...
.. try to take a break every half hour from your homework and do something a little physical... like take a short fast walk outside or something .. it helps revive you .. then go back for another 30 minutes.... etc.. until you get it all done .... exercise is good for the brain .... please try to go to college, community college is fine if that is what you want.. just continue on, because it is tough to find jobs now without higher education ..

i'm a sophmore too. i get like this too sometimes, like when will we ever use this!?!?! but then i have to remember that it really is important because in order for me to be able to do anything in life i need an education (i know i sound like an old person but its true) my grandfather always told me that the only thing that people cant take from you is whats up there in your own mind. but anyway i think its normal and healthy even to question things that that.,
