in my school ppl r mean to any1 dats not lik every1else. y'kno not christian and sraight or watehvah. they make fun of emos,goths,bys, gays,over weight, ect.,ect. y do ppl do dat?

People who are different from them force them to look outside the realm of what they feel is NORMAL and that scares the living day lights out of people. Often times you will also discover jealousy in people who judge other people for one reason or another. Kids in school are not mature enough to see that although everyone is different we really are quite the same.

I'am in highschool and I think it is because most people are afraid of change and are scared of things that are different. Maybe it is just human nature, or maybe we are taught that different is bad. It's seen many times in our history. Hopefully we will all learn to accept that everyone is different. Some people might be making up for not accepting themselves so they rag on others. There are many many reasons. Hope I helped.

I believe that the human race is, by and large, violent, warlike, xenophobic (people not liking others exactly like them), and greedy. They'll do anything for money. That's not to say that individual people aren't enlightened, but they are few and far between.
