Actually, yes it was, good eye! Most think it was Gary Burghoff, but in actuality it was Dustin Diamond with a great makeup job. He used a time machine to get back there in enough time to make the production takes.
Just wait until the 2020 presidential elections -- Screech will be back in a big way.
