It all started with that Teletubie Freak! I don't associate purple with homosexuality. I love that color and many women do to lol

That's what came to mind for me. The purple Teletubby Tinkie Winkie. Everyone thought since he was purple he was gay. But I understand what you're asking. I also wanted to know why pink wasn't associated with being gay. I like pink.

I didn't know it was. And the Tinky Winky thing was just a bunch of bored people making fun of something that was meant for children. I, personally, hated that my kids ever wanted to watch that show because it promoted talking gibberish.

It's not associated with being gay, except when they found out that the Purple Teletubby was gay, then they associated the color purple with the gay teletubby.

The same reason the colors pink and lavender are. Because they are GIRLIE. This also explains why dresses and panties are considered gay.
