I am guessing that the average troll here is an American college student because of the times they post.

And I think that some trolls are older men like in their 30s and 40s because of the way they write.

What do you think?

There's American, Canadian, and UK male trolls. Women trolls? Not so sure, there haven't been many in GWS.

Quite a few trolls are college students (just look at their profile, some tell the truth) and obviously know nothing about working or living in the "real world", not because they are stupid, but because they haven't had many life experiences, and haven't bothered to learn much about people or society. And frankly, it's obvious they've lived very privileged lives, and haven't had to deal with poverty, or poor schools, or dealt with racism or homophobia. They're middle to upper class people from the suburbs.

On the contrary, I'm continually impressed by young men and women who are so articulate and aware of what is happening in our society, but are so compassionate as well. I have great hope because of the awareness and empathy expressed by so many young people here, and elsewhere.

But unfortunately, there are a few very sick men in their 30's and 40's, who are divorced and hate women, who troll in this area and on the net at large. A couple of them are mentally ill, and post daily, sometimes hourly here under numerous accounts. They stalk women and men in GWS, they send women and men hate mail and threaten to rape and kill women posters. Thank goodness not many of you have to deal with them. And then people wonder why GWS posters block people and don't allow emails and IM's!

Trolling is an equal opportunities sport, although I think there are probably two most frequent age ranges being 13-16 and 23-27, both of which are male more often than not. The 13-16 is the usual adolescent revolution against authority waged from the confines of the family home. The second is post college, new job, bottom of the pile, getting ahead crowd who again have issues with authority and everyone on top of them in the food chain.

Trolls come in every political and social flavour, you are just as likely to find liberals trolling republicans as misogynists trolling here. Some trolls just troll to troll. Trolling can be fun!

And of course there are older trolls! Let me tell you some of the BEST trolls are older trolls, the ones around since the beginning of the worldwide web, the anti corporate, technology wave interlopers, the same generation as spawned Linux and rail against the man, who keep the superhighway clear.

How old you say? From the earliest age at which it is possible to type to the moment eyes and fingers fail in old age, but voice technology may yet rescue that!

putting aside your glaring sexism, the act of putting 2 such completely opposite human beings jointly for a length of time will in easy words serve to augment the critiques of each and every in the route of the different. for sure the coach would have a tendency to coach out otherwise, in spite of everything, if Dr. Phil isn't the hero and able to fixing all issues, what is going to that do for rankings? I devalued Dr. Phil and his suggestion when I heard a verbal replace on one coach he had with one guy in which Dr. Phil reported something to the outcome that if he were there, he would have bodily attacked him, which placed him on the very similar airplane because the article of his (staged) anger. for sure, the reason changed into to placed him in pick of almost each and every of the quite demographic target audience.

I've always pictured many of the male tolls here on GWS as late 50s, early 60-something year old retired men who are incredibly bored.

Many of the most obsessed trolls are non-Americans, you can tell by their British spelling (Saint and TrollKing).

As for ages, damaged, bitter, small-minded men come in all ages.

I was always thinking they were teenagers because they lack life experiences. Plus teens and preteens like to get reactions from people. It gives them a sense of power.

most seem to be middle-aged. i'm thinking fat, bald and probably a conservative republican. he has two kids in their teens that don't appreciate him and a dumpy wife that doesn't work.
