I don't know if this qualifies as a blind date, but I met my partner through the Yahoo personals. We hit it off immediately -- our 30-minute coffee date ended up lasting four hours [that's a lot of coffee] -- and we've been together for over four years now.

If it was a close friend setting up the date I wouldn't have a problem. My friends know me ... they know my style, my sense of humor, my taste ... they know me better than I know myself ... so I'd say they'd have a good chance of setting my up with someone I might actually like. I've seen this happen a couple of times with other friends and 2 of them are happily married now.
If it was someone who didn't know me really or hadn't met the person I was being set up with ... I doubt I would go. I've also seen some catastrophes on blind dates and that would NOT be fun! Of course, if you're good at getting out of bad situations you may want to give it a try. You just never really know ...
Peace to you ...

...more like any kind of dates...can be not good....too many guys pretending to be something they aren't...and as soon you are on a date with them....they are so horrible...and they are scary....even if you closed your eyes...they would still be scary bad...bad attitudes...bad breath....so it is like....that is why they are looking for a date...no one should date them....
