is it awkward or odd that my girlfriend of 1 year decided to not give handjobs without me having a condom on? She believes she can get pregnant by touching sperm (because she thinks that it will, one way or another, make contact with her vulva). I tell her hand washing is fine but it doesn't reassure her. Does she have any weight to her arguement. I mean I totally support her with this decision, but I just think its alittle overreacting. Is she overdoing it with the whole potential pregnancy thing? I mean can sperm on hands really get someone pregnant if they wash and don't touch "down there". Thanks.

I can see where she's probably got that "ick" thing going on about sperm. But anyone who gets past puberty with female parts should be over any ick... you would think.
As for pregnancy concerns: as long as she washes her hands with a decent amount of soap (really lather them up) and especially that germicidal soap, then rinse them off, she's got nothing to worry about. But, like the doctor scrubbing for surgery thing - she shouldn't do something stupid like putting sperm on the tap and picking it up afterwards when she turns off the water.
Also, sperm die when they dry up and cool off - so as long as her hands don't stay hot and clammy, she's fine a 10 minutes later. I'm trying to imagine why she would feel the need to touch her vagina within 10 minutes of finishing you off...

no she cant get pregnant that way. does she understand the the sperm has to go up inside of up. plus sperm doesnt live very long outside the body. she is being really paranoid

in less sperm gets in the vagina she cant get pregnant so like if she gave you a hand job then fingers her self she might be able to but.. other than that no

well atleast she is wants to be protected...i say if she wants to give you a hand job w/ a condom then let her...if not then you won't get any..
