My wife and I have 3 kids, but a few years ago, my wife had a miscarriage, even though it was very painful to go through that loss from the miscarriage, I still consider myself a parent to that child.

You'd be a mother who lost her child. The entire time you were pregnant with that child, you were a mother. Whether the child survived or not doesn't take away the fact of being a mother.

Heart broken. Just because the child is not here, doesn't erase the parenting.

I uncertain I comprehend your question. in maximum situations i think of infants would desire to appreciate their elders except the elder is a reprobate. same with infants and fogeys. no remember if the newborn has a similar opinion with it or no longer maximum mum and dad have given great sacrifice for their infants.

There is no official term. you are just a parent that suffered a tragic loss.
