we do have control, the problem is there are too many stupid people that vote along party lines for ideology reasons and the party doesn't follow their own ideology but special interests....
in order for change to occur we as the "people" need to vote for any one other than the INCUMBANT, when we do that in a sweeping manner within 2 to4 years the turds in office will begin to serve the people and not the deep pockets of special interests....
look at the picture right now...people are losing homes right and left due to unscrupulous lending practices....the banks made trillions over creating a situation that inflated house property to rediculous levels, now the fed is bailing out the losses by reducing the interest rates, giving them bailout money to cover losses... all of it was a scam, to divert the issue of the Iraq blunders...
what is even worse is on the eve of the election the housing market will miraculously recover and all is forgotten "exept for the thousands of people that lost their homes to this atrocity" and we will still be in Iraq policing a Bush Blunder..........
