I regret going to bed so late (sometimes at 3:00 at night)....doing my homework and other times just having fun. I have done this for almost five years in a row, and now I think I'm suffering from insomnia. So that's my biggest regret....so far!
What's yours?

My biggest regret is marrying my husband. He ended up beating me up almost daily and by the time I was able to get away I had 4 children and had to start over!

Yeah, by far that was the biggest mistake in my life!

Relying on a best friend, more than anyone or anything else. And having that best friend be in every part of my life. Best friends DO NOT last forever. She suddenly decided to cut myself from her life, without telling me why. She would make promises to do something and then change them last minute. She would lie about what she was going to do. She made me a BEAUTIFUL gift but then took it back the same day for 6 months (before I officially ended the friendship and took it back). She'd cringe, back away, and almost scream when I touched her. To make matters worse, I couldn't go to church without her being there. We had the same circle of friends, which I was then ostracised. I lived in the same house has her boyfriend (who WAS a great friend of mine). I was not safe anywhere. I had constant anxiety because I'd see her EVERYWHERE (I live in a small town of 6,000)

It destroyed me. Pretty lame, since I was in college. Depressed for almost 3 years. I regret that.

Mine is / was working 4 and 5 jobs to make ends meet when my children were young. As luck would have it I ended up as a single mom with two littles ones and I had to find a way to raise all three of us. So I worked constantly. My dad was a work-a-holic and he expected me to be one too. My aunt and mom took care of my kids a lot.... A LOT, and I worked. I would finish one job and go directly to the next. I would leave for work at 7am and get home at 2am only get up at 5:30 am and start all over again. I missed helping with homework, a few parent / teacher nights, and just playing and doing things with them. Don't get me wrong, we did a lot of stuff together.... short trips, (I got massive discounts so we could afford it) and we went for picnics, and road trips to their other grandparents but I missed an awful lot too. If I had a do over, that's what it would be.... get one really good job, what our spendatures closely, and spend more time playing and getting to know my kids even better.
It's not like it all turned out bad..... my kids and I get along terrifically.... we do stuff together quite often. They have children now and I am having a fab time with my grandgirls!
I can never get back what I missed out on, but I am thankful that my kids grew up to be wonderful adults. I thank God and my family for that.

My biggest regret is not being more accepting of others when I was in school. I realize now that was mean and that I probablly could have ended up with better friends.

Going to too many heavy metal concerts when I was younger without ear plugs. Hearing does not recover. Otherwise, everything is good as long it doesn't cause permanent damage. It's mostly things I didn't do I regret, although I still fortunately have time to do most of them.

I'd rather regret doing something, than regret NOT doing something.

So my regrets mostly relate to offers/chances I didn't take.
