My mom told me about a horror movie she saw in the 80's. Its about a guy who gets possesed by a demon. Then he kills his whole family and puts them on display in the dinner table, so people wont suspect that they are dead. Then a couple of weeks go by and the police go to his house. But they never found him.
Another movie she told me about was about a perverted man. That killed young girls to have their body parts so he can create the most beautiful girl. So he put the pieces together.

...your second description might be either the 1982 Italian horror/splatter shocker, "Pieces" (...mysterious cloaked killer, with mother fixation, whom he killed when he was a boy, saves his mother's head, and begins to kill college girls, for their body parts, so he can reconstruct his mother), or the 1991 Italian horror/thriller, "Body Puzzle" (...detective investigates series of murders, whereby the killer is retrieving body parts and organs from varied people, who medically received them from the exact same donor)...
...your first description is a lot more vague, but I'm leaning very iffy toward an obscure late '80's demonic possession horror/shocker, called "Retribution"; it's probably not it, though...

the second one sounds like Silence of the Lambs- but i dont know about the first one.
