Probably means that your wishbone isn't dry.

An old custom in many families is to make a wish on the wishbone. The turkey breastbone is cleaned and two people get a chance to make a wish by snapping the dried bone with each one pulling on an end. The person with the larger end of the bone gets the wish. That’s how we got the phrase, a "lucky break".

A. It isn't brittle yet!
B. Some joker soaked it it in vinegar overnight!
C. You and your partner are very weak!

My guess is "B", someone is playing a joke on you. Try it on your little Bro or Sis yourself this Thanksgiving! The vinegar makes it very rubbery.
