How about this, rather then tell your friend(s) pick one person in your group of friends that you trust to give you an honest opinion and not biased and talk to them alone. Once they are told, pick the next one, until you have a few people that will stand up for you with the judgemental ones. Other then that, don't tell anyone....if they are just friends they shouldn't care. Your lovers will though.

Can't you just let them "realise" when you go out start eyeing up the people you like & commenting on them as you normally do, just this time kinda "slip up" & start pointing to people of both genders.

I'm bi, & most of my mates are totally cool about it, I don't make a big thing of it I just mention my girlf's as well as my boyf's. There were one or two who backed away cos they couldn't handle that I might fancy them (I didn't, but they then couldn't handle the fact I didn't). But my TRUE frioends are totally cool about it, as long as I'm happy so are they.

True story. My good friend and I went out one night and he said I have something to tell you, something I have wanted to tell you for a long time. He said I hope you still accept me , I am gay. I still choke up when I think how much courage it took him and how long he kept this secret from family and friends. If your friends are true to you they will accept you.

I don't know what's so different about me, but when I was in high school, I realized the same about myself. It was perfectly natural for me to be open about it. It didn't matter to my real friends as they loved me for who I was, not who I was attracted to.

I have similar confusion. I haven't acted on my interest in other girls, but I wonder if/how I'd ever tell my gfs if I did "go for it."

If you figure this out, please let me know.
