You can do it free if you have a torch. Find a building site that has a flat tar roof being installed. Get a piece of the tar (they break it with a hammer when adding it to the heat kettle). Heat the pipe until the tar will melt when touched to it. We used to do this with underground drainage lines for sandholes in the new cast iron pipes. JB Weld will also work. Get it at a Home Center or hardware.
