Long story short, we had 20 bags of garbage in the garage. Now, I took all the garbage out and took it to the dump. But there is a billion flies crawling around the garage floor, ther are on EVERYTHING. Some people suggest boiling water, but i cant pour boiling water on everything in the garage... anone have any advise on what to do? How do i get rid of them all, without torching the place?

You are going to laugh when you hear how simple this is and I know you are going to think Bull CR**... BUT IT WORKS!

This idea won BEST ANSWER 12 Times in 2 MONTHS!

Take a few 16 ounce clear jars and pour about 1/2" of Brown Apple Cider Vinegar in each one. On top of the Vinegar add 4-6 drops of ANY Liquid Dish detergent..DO NOT STIR.....Put these open topped jars in the garage where you see the most Fruit Flies, and leave them undisturbed for 24-48 hours. You will be ABSOLUTELY AMAZED at how many Fruit Flies you will catch overnight with this method. The Fruit Flies are attracted to the Vinegar (Apple Smell) and investigate..They fall into the solution and DROWN.No Muss, NO Fuss, NO Chemicals.SERIOUSLY..I have literally killed hundreds of Fruit Flies this way....

Do NOT use White Distilled Vinegar, use BROWN Apple Cider Vinegar ONLY!

Please let me know how this worked for you.........It has worked for people all over the US, Britain and even Ireland....

Pour a small amount of red wine in a small bowl and cover with saran wrap. Poke a few small holes in the top, and place where the flies are most abundant. (You will probably have to use a few bowls if you have that many flies.) The flies crawl in, drink the wine, drown, and die. When there are enough dead flies to cover the bottom of the bowl or bowls, clean them out, refill, and set them out again. Do this as long as it takes to get rid of them. Good luck.
