What is this? When all else fails, play the gender-card? Her plans and her take on most issues is what most people dislike about her, not the fact that she is a half-woman.

You obviously have not been paying attention. And you just called her a half-woman yourself. These are comments made by numerous news sources just in the last 2 weeks about Clinton, that all rely on her being a woman, so they can criticize her:

1) Clinton's supposed "anti-male thing" (would you discuss a male candidate's "anti-woman thing"?);
2) How she is supposed to be "tapping into women's anger towards men" (would you ask if a man is tapping into men's anger towards women?);
3) Asking whether she's a manly or scary girl (what the heck does that even mean?):
4) Stating she has to act tough since she's a "female candidate" (would you say this about a male candidate?)
5) Stating Clinton has to act "like a woman to win" (Would you say a male candidate has to "act like a man to win"?)
6) I can't even comment on the last article and link, it is so demeaning towards women

1) "Matthews and National Journal's Douglass on Clinton's 'anti-male thing'": http://mediamatters.org/items/200711020012?f=s_search

2) "MSNBC's Carlson invoked Lorena Bobbitt to claim Clinton is tapping into 'women's anger toward men'":

Where's that liberal media I've been hearing about? Why don't they like women political candidates, if they're so "liberal"?

She's a woman, democrat, and is considered as using bill's coat tails. Cons hate bill Clinton w/ a keenness. women people who're opinionated and stern in our society, each and every so often come off as b*tchey. i'm no longer a extensive Hillary fan the two, b/c of a few of her political stances.

The reason she plays the gender-card is simply because she thinks it will win her votes. Look for Obama to play the race card at some point too. It also deflects from their policies, or lack of policies.

Isn't the "half-woman" remark an attack on her gender? You may not be criticizing her because she is a woman, but there are plenty of people on here who have done just that. And now she'll use that.

Honestly, I have yet to hear a single complaint that she is inappropriate for the job because she is a woman.

All complaints I hear are in the order of:
-fishy campaign contributions
-his/her playing the media like a fiddle,
-his/her reliance on poll results for the simplest of decisions
-his history
-her association with him
-her lack of qualifications
-and on and on...

I have no problem with a woman doing the job... Just not Hillary.

Some people most likely do; but there are collectively thousands of excuses for people to hate Hillary.

it was to be expected, wasn't it? poor little Hillary and all the big bad men ganging up on her...

playing the gender card is probably the worst option she could have taken. I'm sure this will help her to lose support, not gain it.

Because she has nothing left to fall back on. Hillary is a disgrace. She wants the job of being the President, yet she doesn't want to face the same interview as everyone else.

She feels that if she plays the role of the "victim" she will arouse the passion in many men and women. Those who truly know her, know what a vile, manipulative person she really is.
Hillary will do what she has to do to gain power. Playing up the criticisms of others is only part of her ploy.

Billary is using the gender card, and now is 'exacting' sympathy, to keep the followers she has, and trying to garner more.
SON, We have a COMPLETE Year to go, and I am guessing that "WE AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET".
