Just wondering because I'm reading the stuff on here and a lot of men are complaining about their wives having kids, gaining weight and so the passion died. As for women, it's more of a communication, emotional thing.

i believe the spark dies when you've been emotionally hurt, when he doesn't' treat u special anymore, when communication stops, and problems never get worked out. its actually about how he makes u feel about yourself, and it does effect our ego's and how we view ourselves.

It happens because of the things you listed above. If the women would get the communication and the emotion, then they would not gain weight and spend all the time with the kids. It is a two way street. You need to ask for what you want and your partner needs to do it. The spark has not died in my marriage because we work at it each and every day. And that is what everyone needs to do instead of complaining about each other, they need to say what can I do today to make my spouse happy!

If a man loses interest because a woman has his kids and gains weight, then he's a jerk and shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. People's weight fluctuates, they lose their hair, their hair turns grey, their boides change over time. Get over it, it happens to everyone.

If women aren't getting the communication they want, then perhaps they should shut up, quit nagging and whining so much and give the man a chance to speak, and then not make fun of him when he does.

My marriage after 10 years, hasn't lost a spark. It keeps getting better and better. We do things together, we do things apart, we talk about everything, we share fantasies, dreams, ideas, and we do them and support each other's goals.

I think it dies if you let it die. It's like a fire, if you want it to keep going, you must put in more wood to burn, otherwise, it will be off soon.
Men and women have to take care of themselves and of each other, so that this not happen as often as it is happening.

it all boils down to communication. You can communicate but if you do not listen you loose. Here is a saying I like. Do not fight to win but fight to love. If you fight to love you are both winners. if not one will loose and eventually give up.
