I cut my own bangs, to avoid the very blunt awkward straight cut DO NOT cut straight across. To make them look normal cut them down at an angle. Practice before doing it! You could use either or scissors or razor but the razor blade would take longer and will hurt your hair :/

I'm careful when using a razor blade. I'm not allowed to have a sharp knife because I'm always cutting myself.
I wonder if this nurse got the 'do two, get one free' deal and if she was able to charge the drs for the 'work' she did on them! lol

Yes, I am very careful as I am good at giving good nicks in my legs when I am shaving them. I don't use a razor anywhere near my throat or mouth. Keeping on the line of safety for myself. I can't see how this happened but she sure got rid of alot of things that might have given her problems later on!

Absolutely! I use the single-edge blades for so many things, not counting box cutters.
I used to keep a blade in my pocketbook for "just in case," and the cardboard wrap around the blade came off without my knowledge.
I reached in my pocketbook for something and felt a sting on the end of my finger. Jerked my hand out to find the finger bleeding like crazy.
I quit carrying razor blades in my pocketbook.

I have never been good using a razor blade on myself.I would hate to think about swallowing one. I had a friend actually swallowed part of a broken toothpick that was left in her sandwich, and it tore a major hole in her esophagus. She was in intensive care for a month!

Always careful, but still cut myself sometimes. A rip to see how seriously your joke was taken.

Yes . I am careful always.
But I haven't heard the stories you are referring to.
It is always necessary to behave oneself and be cautious when doing with a blade, knife or a pistol or of that sort. It is because the instrument does not differentiate your beard with your skin, or the person to whom we are triggering off etc.
If yo proceed to cut, it cuts anything with out hesitation. Hence one has to be cautious about.
