Oh Doc, you crack me up.
You know as well as I do that The Tigers are going to sign Rivera to make up for that kerry woods wannabee.
Besides The Mud Hens make an offer, so he owuld play in Toledo and have to fight for a spot with Mike Hessman.
these "so-called" Tiger fans (Bo) who even remotely think a-rod will come to Detroit need to wake up. They are clearly bandwagon fans and are now added to my blocked list (which is currently at 168).
THE TIGERS DO NOT WANT OR NEED A-ROD.
I'd take Mike Hessman over Alex anyday of the week.

Pay Rod isn't going to sign in Detroit. Scott Boras learned his lesson when Pay Rod signed with the Rangers. Boras wants Pay Rod to play in a big market, that means both teams in LA and the Cubs are front runners to sign him.

That is a possibility. I think Detroit can go up to 30 mil per year for 8 years (240 total), which would be just enough to get over what he reportedly left on the table with the Yanks. Boras has something up his sleeves, and it may be Detroit.

he might go to Detroit, cause alotta players who Boras has have ended up lookin for teams all over MLB to get paid extremely high $$$ and it was always last place they wanted to play when they signed, like Pudge, Maggs, Guillen and Rogers, but they're startin to contend gettin Renteria to partner with Polanco at 2B-SS and Guillen movin to 1st, and Jayson Starks thinks Tigers will get A-Rod cause no other team will offer him near what he wants, and now since NHL has a salary cap all the $$$$ Mike Illitch makes from Red Wings fans, he can use most of that $$ for the Tigers now, since he's finally startin to spend all his $ on MLB since NHL's new rule, and I'm sure he could afford to sign A-Rod but it's still a very small chance of him coming to Detroit, since just gettin Renteria and probably atleast 1 team will offer him way overpaid $$ like the SD or SF and end up screwin themselves just like Rangers did when they signed him

OH MY GOD I'M SICK OF PEOPLE ASKING THESE QUESTIONS. SO FOR ONCE AND ALL LISTEN!
THE TIGERS HAVE NO ROOM FOR A-ROD! DOMBROWSKI SAID HE'S HAPPY WITH HIS INFIELD AND THE ONLY (SORTA) POSITION LEFT IS LEFT FIELD AND SHEF WON'T GO THERE BECAUSE OF INJURY PROBLEMS WITH HIS SHOULDER, LEYLAND WON'T RISK IT. SHEF WILL BE AT DH AND THEREFORE NO ROOM FOR A-ROD. PLUS THE TIGERS WAN'T PLAYERS WHO CAN PERFORM IN THE PLAYOFFS. NOT PLAYERS WHO CHOKE.

I hope so. If he goes to the Angels, that team is very dangerous.
