Assalaam A Alaikum Noha,
Welcome back Dear
Well I never celebrate valentine day as I don’t believe in all these things
But I do have a person in my life Love of my life who always stands with me all the time during my ups and downs
Who cares about me and can’t see even a Single tear in my eyes WAALLAH it’s all true.
Honestly the life is nothing without him.
Sometimes I am really thinking do I deserve all this? As he really loves me a lot
What will be more then this that he study about Islam as I reject his proposal because he was not a Muslim so he study about Islam and convert to Islam Allhamdullah.
Inshalla we will get married Next year.
I wish May all the girls should get a person same like him in there life’s. (Ameen)
Allah Hafiz

Yes, I have a very special one to tell all what you said, I think some of them most fit my case and I'm the most one in the world that can say them sincerely, I feel this and more.
But I wanna say this to her all the time, not just for one day, besides, if gonna say this to her, I would say this on any day in the year except this Valentine Day, why should we do as non-Muslims do, why don't we show love and appreciation all over the year instead of specializing one day for this, even if I will do, it won't be on Valentine's Day, it's a Christian feast anyway!

Noha thanks for reminding us of the love day or the Egyptian feast of love. Sorry that the answer went to another direction than the one you meant to ask. Any way the debate about it is good. In my opinion I like the idea even if I don't celebrate it. I prefer the Egyptian day.
Any way instead of being with or against, I will try to get the right opinion and I will send a question to {Dar Al Ifta}. They are the concerned people for this Fatwa. "Isa'alu ahl al zekr in kontom la ta3lamoun"
Rana : Yes Mustafa Amien was the one who made it.

welcome back
i dnt celebrate valentine's day
@Ismaily rules
tomorrow is the ''Egyptian'' valentine's day which was first announced by mustafa amien who really loved his wife and used to send her love letters while he was in jail
14/2 is the universal valentine's day which is a memorial of saint valentine who used to tie the knot of lovers behind the Cesar's back because he wanted all men in the war and he banned marriage at that time, when he found out he hanged the saint
@Roush_showing affection to ur hubby, mother or whatever is one thing
celebrating is another thing
muslims aren't supposed to celebrate except 3 fiests:
al fitr
al adha
every juma'a
other than that is considered bid'a wa kol bed'a dlalah wa kol dlalah fel nar..
what even more is that day is called ''saint'' valentine's day ,showing affection to ur loved ones is really ok,but ppl take it as a holyday and u MUST bring a teddy bear and a heart and go out with ur fiancee or even ur friends...
Allah knows best

Welnaby, please tell me.
Isn't Valentine day on 14th of February?
Isn't it the day when all the girls carry the red teddy bears and red hearts in the streets?
I see them every year in Ismailia.
Is the timing different between Ismailia and Cairo?

Why bed3a??? I know I will get thumbs down from you who said it's bed3a but I am totally convinced it is not. Khalliko ma3aya le akher el khat!! Ayam el rassoul (ASWS) every husband, father, mother, children used to love their family and mafish yom ye3addi ella and their love to their families are shown by a way or another. But nowadays unfortunately husbands need to be reminded to show their care and love to their wives, children need reminders to show their love to their parents, it's not like zaman lel assaf!!! sooooo 3eed el omm, valentine's day and others remind the MUSLIM husband to remember HIS wife fe west el mashaghel beta3et el donia and vice versa! law kano el nass homma homma betou3 zaman makanshy feeh beda3 zay di tel3et TRUST ME! and I highly appreciate those who "bada3ou" those days as they are few within the 365 days when we feel real loved :)
@NOha, wa7ashtini awy and welcome back :) and yes I will try to show some kindness and love to my husband and daughter after the hormonal changes that i've been facing lately and the mood swings they are ya haram experiencing with me @ home :)
