Hey there friend... Chin up... Keep in mind that love doesnt hurt! If you love someone you wont hurt because the feelings you got... You may hurt by the feeling the other person has or hasnt towards you... ;)
If the feelings or behavior of a person you love hurt you, that simply means that this person doesnt share the same feelings. If this person loved you, and gave love to you, you would definately not hurt... :)
What hurts is selfishess, ignorance, neglection, mischieving and deceitful behaviors, etc...
Be strong and cheer up!!! Love as much as you won't... Keep in mind though that giving love, dosnt mean you will take back love... But if you trully love someone you do not expect taking back something. You dont love someone about the things or feelings or thoughts he might give back... You love him because this is the feeling that this person awakens in you...
:) :) :) Cheer up!

Love hurts because the emotions run so deep! It doesn't always hurt but the potential is there to be hurt, even devastated! I am so sorry that you are 'broken'! Love between two people often times overwhelms logic! It sometimes makes us do things that are illogical & Senseless. "When only one person out of these two have this emotion they might not realize that the other might not reciprocate and it is this naiveity that blinds them from the plain and simple truth that they might get hurt as if they were in a relationship that doesn't mean anything what so ever! When/if they do get hurt then they can't understand why this person, who apparently loved them, did what they did. The answer is quite simple: Either that other person doesn't reciprocate or they need reminding that what they are doing to those that they love the most is in fact hurting them! If they change their ways, at least enough to show that they desperately want to try, then they love you back. If they don't then they don't love you back."
Good Luck to you!

Every time you say you like something or love something, it means you want it. But when you say you love somebody, it means you are surrendering yourself to them, you are willing to let go the things you care most, for the happiness of the person you love. And when you are doing such a majestic gesture, your heart automatically expects the same in return. And when the return does not come, it panicks and puts you through hell.
The key to a love that does not hurt is to love with out expecting anything in return.. Like a mother loves a child; no matter how bad the child grows to be, the love and care of its mother never dies...

If it didn't ... then how would we know when it made us happy? There is no joy without pain. No sun without rain. It is just a universal law of life. We must, unfortunately go through the bad, so that when we have the good we can both appreciate it and rejoice in it.
There will never be love without hurt - even the strongest and best relationships experience it - because it is a part of love itself. Even though it hurts ... every heart break makes us stronger and teaches us what we need to know to find love that lasts.
Peace to you ...

When you love someone, you`d do anything for them because they mean the world to you. You`re willing to sacrifice anything just to be with them. After they`re gone, your life just falls apart because you were so used to spending every minute of your life with them. Your mind says you hate them but your heart says you miss them. You try so hard to get over them but you just can`t. You have been hurt so bad and you`ve been kicked when you are already down. You dream about them and yet you want the dreams to go away. Every time you remember them you break down and sob. Wondering what went wrong and why did it happen. You say you will not give in, but you are already down on your knees looking for hope.

If it didnt hurt would you know how valuable it is? It teaches you how good it feels to be loved and how bad it is to be without it so you can appreciate it more next time around!

Because love hurts, love scars,
Love wounds, and marks,
Any heart, not tough,
Or strong, enough
To take a lot of pain,
Take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud
Holds a lot of rain...

the short edition , cause life is cruel ...
Long edition , cause human beings are really narcissistic creatures , we see ourselves better and more beautiful than anyone else , even if we had the lowest self-esteem alive ...
So , when all this "self" Beauty is refused by some other creature .... HELL Why did he even think HE worth MY eternal love ? but I still love him , this is confusing ...
Ok ... this was bullshit , love hurts cause its love ...
Cheers

I don't know if love hurts, as such... I know breaking up hurts, cheating hurts, not being loved hurts, being 'not enough' hurts.
