I personally think that any control the government has over media is to much power is to much control. Our country is a democracy or more specific a representitive democracy so we have representatives go in for us so unless our rep. goes in and proposes a law that we vote on they shouldn't have control over any thing. Also under the freedom of speech and and media law we should be able to say and publish what ever we want.

I assume you're American as in a previous question you asked for help in 'Math' rather than 'Maths' as everybody else abbreviates it.

I'm in England and here we have various censorship laws that prevent, to a degree, what you call objectionable' material. We also have a strong PC Brigade (Political Correctness) who seem to object to anything and everything that may offend immigrants. For example they tried to ban ;'Christmas' and call it 'Winterval' in case it offended Muslims. (It can't offend them that much when you see the Christmas stuff the shops owned by Muslims are selling.)

However things that cannot be broadcast include anything construed as racist, anything inciting violence, full frontal nudity except in certain circumstances but, even then, no erect penises, anything inciting terrorism and anything treasonable.

Generally public decency is protected and it's just about right.

I think the government should exercise more control over students who have others do their work for them.
They should be put out of school, since they're not interested in learning. Why should I pay to educate some kid who doesn't want to be in school?

I suspect this is your homework! It is YOUR opinion the teacher is looking for, not ours!
If you submit something we have written, that's plagiarism and that is cheating.
You can find many examples by a simple Google (for example Janet Jacksons "wardrobe malfunction").
Please do your own work!
