Your boyfriend will either (a) loan you the money in order to be the boyfriend of a more attractive girl than you are now, or (b) not loan you the money for fear that, once you become more attractive, he will lose you to another guy.

You friend is more likely to correctly point out that the plastic surgery is not really going to improve your life and that there are less expensive ways (make-up) to improve your looks, but also more likely to support you in whatever decision you make.

I am not against plastic surgery, but I personally think that unless it is for reconstructive reasons (that you just can´t wait untill you have the money) a loan is not the best option. If you can wait a bit, try to save up the money and then go for it. Here you can read more about that http://www.aestheticandplastic.com/before-your-surgery/psychological-aspects.html

All the best!!

Never, ever, borrow money from a boyfriend or a friend. Especially if you value that relationship.

Get a personal loan at the bank or get a second job and scrimp for six months.

Plastic surgery cannot be sold or repossessed so its not like its collateral.

You don't need plastic surgery. And the doctor who does it is just after your money. If your not happy with yourself as you are now, you still won't be after you have plastic surgery. And if your boyfriend is pushing you to do this...get rid of him!!

You should put neither person in that position. Save the $ up yourself, even if it means you have to get another job or wait a while.

Freind, my dear freind. Get the loan from a freind, a freind is always around in thick and thin but boy freinds are rare to find who stick for long untill they find a greener pasture.

Your friend. It's something that you'll have with you forever, generally friends are with you longer than boyfriends unless you're really serious and you're heading in the marriage direction. Borrowing money can burn bridges so be careful who you ask.
