A young man was walking through a supermarket to pick up a few
things when he noticed an old lady following him around. Thinking
nothing of it, he ignored her and continued on. Finally he went to
the checkout line, but she got in front of him.

"Pardon me," she said, "I'm sorry if my staring at you has made
you feel uncomfortable. It's just that you look just like my son,
who just died recently."

"I'm very sorry," replied the young man, "is there anything I can
do for you?"

"Yes," she said, "As I'm leaving, can you say 'Good bye, Mother'?
It would make me feel so much better."

"Sure," answered the young man.

As the old woman was leaving, he called out, "Goodbye, Mother!"
As he stepped up to the checkout counter, he saw that his total
was £127.50.

"How can that be?" He asked, "I only purchased a few things!"

"Your mother said that you would pay for her," said the clerk.

I agree with what you are saying about Haye being a live opponent but I would still favour Walcott. I agree that Walcott didn't fight anybody with the combination of traits that Haye has but when did Haye last fight somebody as fast, mobile, crafty and physically fit as Walcott? The answer is he hasn't. Walcott is underrated I believe, he was a skilled fighter, very athletic, had a great left hook and although he could be taken out by big punchers he was tough. He managed to hold on to his attributes and win the heavyweight title at 37, which back in the early 50's was very old for a fighter. This could be a chess match, I think they are evenly matched in terms of speed and Haye's size advantage would only be minimal. Haye has the power to knock Walcott out but I also believe Walcott could knock Haye out. The deciding factor would be Walcott's intelligence as a boxer, Haye has a tendency to either go for the KO and leave himself wide open, or as with Valuev box over-cautious. If Haye was too cautious Walcott outworks him and takes a decision, if Haye opens up Walcott gets through with a left hook and ends it. I will go for the latter. Walcott KO7.

I have worked in a couple of Retirement Homes and I found them to be the jokesters and fun to be around. I loved the answer you got about putting condoms in carts. If I had thought about it, this is something I would have done. Well, today I go to the grocery store for our weeks worth of food and find what I could slip into someones cart. This answer deserves a well earned star for the Queen.

Crafty - are they ever.

Walking up to a department store's fabric counter, a pretty girl asked, "I want to buy this material for a new dress. How much does it cost?"

"Only one kiss per yard," replied the smirking male clerk.

"That's fine," replied the girl. "I'll take ten yards."

With expectation and anticipation written all over his face, the clerk quickly measured out and wrapped the cloth, then teasingly held it out.

The girl snapped up the package and pointed to a little old man standing beside her. "Grandpa will pay the bill," she smiled.

Old people have a sense of humor! I have a friend that like to get several boxes of condoms in his cart, and when he sees someone that is not looking or attending their cart, he throws a box into their cart. He says he is just sorry he does not always see them check out.

Some are crafty, but some are completely senile. That's the same for young people! If you think all of us young folk would fall for that you are senile! Peace and grocery money!
