Can somebody please tell me what to write a how-to on...
Anything good about which I can write materials, directions, and tips...
I'd prefer something that my teacher would find interesting

The only "how-to" directions you should be writing about is something YOU are best qualified to do.
If I were to suggest you write a step by step set of instructions on how to write a lesson plan for a class of high school students, the teacher may find it interesting, but YOU don't have the training on how to do this.
Think about your strengths. Think about what you are good at. Write about that.

try how to light a light bulb with 2 batteries and write how it lights and how to make so that the batteries wuill light the light bulb
