When you're courageous, you feel the fear but do it anyway. When you're fearless, you feel no fear.
I'd choose courageous, because feeling fear is normal; overcoming it is the hard part.

Courage is being in control of your fear. I still don't quite get the difference, cuz' everyone has something they fear, so fearless is one of those ironic words. If I was one it'd be courageous, because I'm scared out of my wits sometimes, and keep it in perspetive.
