People just wish for the Rock to come back, and realistically, all he could do is talk at this point. He is not in physical shape to wrestle, nor does he have anything to accomplish. He's a multi-time champion, had some of the best matches with Stone Cold and Mankind, and profited by being able to branch off into Hollywood without having to return to wrestling.

people think the Rock is coming back because wrestlemania is going to be in Florida the Rock's home state. he may end up being like Hogan and show up once in a great while just to make sure people remember him for the next movie he does. but he won't ever come back to work in the WWE. he gets way to much money from movies that really not many people like. I'm sure his wife is wishing he would have stayed with wrestling since they are getting divorced now that he has become a big movie star.

He seems to be finished as a wrestler, he just wants to be in kid movies now.
He is the past it's true, he won't come back people need to stop saying that, if he does come back it's only for like 5 minutes or less

I don't think that they are thinking the Rock is coming back, I think they're just hoping because WWE is sucking so bad.
