It's for reporting questions which violate the YA guidelines. You violate the guidelines often. Using moronic terms like McFannatics doesn't help your cause neither.

"...please be respectful and keep hateful and incendiary comments off Yahoo! Answers."

That'll be why you get reported so often.

Miss,
my take on all of this is that you have adults and you have spoiled brats in the bodies of adults

adults can argue, disagree and breath fire at each other and at the end of the day, re-think what was said so they can play again tomorrow and do better.

spoiled brats report, why, because they are not adults. I don't know anything about the missing girl in your question apart from cadaver dogs located the scent in the room.

In a question some months ago, someone asked how atheist came to their conclusion. The answers were coherent, intelligent, thoughtful and insightive. One of the points that was made was that the religious teaching they had was basically lifeless, and it was condemning of the ones instructing them. I can only think that the religious brats were crawling in their skin to report.

I would like it if yahoo actually reviewed the question /asnwer instead of just removing the post.

as a christian, it bothers me beyond measure for people to just report issues. This is suppose to be a question answer arena where all can be heard, but it is not functioning that way.
or at least not all the time.

my views are my views, the atheist view are theirs, we may never come to an agreement on things, but we do need each other and brats only poison the waters for all who gather there.

The McCanns have been threatening to sue everyone for months. They have the funds and the lawyers to do just that. They could do it easily but they always shy away.Could they be trying to hide something that they don't want brought up in open court .Why are they so paranoid? If they were so sure of their case they would have done it by now.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and only narrow-minded people report opinions. People should be allowed an opinion, as long as it doesn't cross the line of being abusive. I saw someone get reported for saying that they didn't believe everything in the Bible. That person is a friend of mine, and she received a lot of nasty emails from religious people telling her that she was going to hell, that God was irate with her, and that she would be punished for "denouncing the holy text." People who report opinions obviously want everyone to share their opinion, and their opinion only.

Even Andrew M claiming to be a family memeber to the McCanns, telling you to withdraw the comment or else!

It depends on the insults written. Give a good question by all means, but it shows lack of maturity and decency to Madeleine, never mind what you may think of her parents by abusing their surname.

Grow up you lot. Its old hat now slandering the family.

I've never reported anyone =)

I just ignore people. Threatening to sue is a bit OTT!

I agree. Just because your view of the McCann situation is different to theirs. For some people on this site, the only 'power' they have in their lives, is the 'report' button. How sad.

Mcfans are like a virus, they pop up when you don't want them to. Why do they insult or even answer questions they don't like. The best cure for "These viruses" is simply ignore them. Hopefully they'll go away. They are filth to society!!!
