My husband and I used to have a great sex life. Recently though, things have changed. My husband always used to initiated the foreplay, and was always up for sex, however since I've been pregnant, he never does that anymore! No more of those come from behind cuddle hugs, no more touching and fondling in a sexual manor, no more of those intense kissing sessions, absolutely nothing! Now I always have to begin the foreplay, and he barely puts any effort into things at all. Who do you think is supposed to start things more often, the woman or the man? How can I bring more romance back into the marriage?

It's called take this time to have a break and when you have had your baby and maybe a few months after that start
banging each like no tomorrow. It sounds to me like he may be grossed out by the pregnancy or afraid of hurting the baby
very common don't take anything personally it is just this way for many men. Not much you can do about it what I have heard doggy style is usually the more preferred method and well if you use a big pillow very comfortable for you as well.
Congrats on the pregnancy and Best Wishes.
May God Bless you and your Family and the baby to come.

True, some men feel that they may hurt the baby or like there is a 3rd person in the room... they think on some level that the baby is very aware of the sexual movements of the couple.. also, to be honest, though many men find a pregnant woman attractive, many do not.. you really need to talk to your husband and see what the issue really is and if it's something the two of you can fix together.
In general, I think men initiate more often than women; however, I think that some women initiate more...

men are weird about pregnancy, most are not turned on by it at all. Just do what you can to try and be sexy, and once the baby is born he'll come around. Men a lot of times have the picture of the baby inside you during sex and can't psychologically get stimulated.

It's not a cute image .. i mean i wouldnt imagine myself pregnant and "doing it" it's kinda weird that there's a baby in between
He might be thinking the same way i am so dont initiate anything cuz it's not u .. it's the fact that there's another human being inside of u
U know .. rent or buy this movie (Knocked up) it kinda reminds me of u two ^__^

i had the same problem and it's only gotten worse. some guys you can't change it. however, you can be sexy and pregnant. get some nice lacy lingerie, and let him take a BEHIND approach. if you know what i mean. maybe the belly bothers him. it happens. but he could just be freaked out by the fact that he's going inside of you and his baby is in you. very common sweetie. if that be the case, not much you can do. sorry :(

Normally the man initiates love-making. At least it is that way in my house. Maybe your hubby is just worried that your little guy might decide to play "Whack-A-Mole" on that little pop up target. ; )
Seriously, guys are very sensitive about possibly hurting the baby. I know I was. However, I was much better with our 2nd and 3rd child.

I sure wanted to bang my wife when she was preg, it was a turn on however she lost interest and I only got to hit it once. It's too bad he's missing out, you so are you durring pregnancy you are more sensitive and the feelings should be more intense

My husband was like that when I was pregnant, he said he's afraid to pop my water, and felt uncomfortable with baby stuck in the middle.
