Insulate everything - pipes in the basement, the water heater, check for cracks that can be plugged with foam insulation, make sure your windows are completely sealed. Windows and doors that aren't properly sealed are huge heat stealers. Set the thermostat a bit lower and wear layers.

Insulate, calk and put weatherstripping on the doors and windows. Dont forget to insulate behind outlets on outside walls. Insulate the windows in the basement (bubble wrap is great for this). Vent the dryer inside so the warm air isnt being lost. Change your furnace filters monthly. Lower the thermostat even a few degrees. Wear warm clothes.
Remember heat rises so make sure your attic has insulation.
