CPR A classes are 4 hours CPR C classes are 6 to eight hours CPR HCP classes are 8 hours. customary First help classes, which incorporate CPR-C are sixteen hours Emergency First help classes, which incorporate CPR-A or CPR-C are 8 hours. those hours fluctuate in keeping with type length and journey yet a stable suggestion to instructors and applicants.

Not only have I had CPR training since I was 9 years old, I also teach it now. I hope you enjoy your class.
You should plan to be there no less than 4 hours since you are learning to use a defibrillator and first aid essentials.
Just keep in mind you are learning life saving techniques...any less than 4 hours is just not enough time.

yes, and the rules for getting your license are a little different now, so the course is alot quicker. I would say that I was there roughly an hour or so. You just watch a video, perform the cpr, and take an oral evaluation.

I've taken the class before. It depends on how many people are in the class and how fast of a learner people are. It can take anywhere from 2 ~ 6 hours.

yeah, cpr is a required course at our school. it last one quarter, but we get most mondays and all fridays off. (not off school, just off that class.) so we had about 9 three-day weeks of it. we learned adult, child and infant cpr, adult child and infant consious and inconsious choking, and AED usage for all.
but others that you sign up for outside can only last a few hours/
