1) We already do that. Any female will always look for the most handsome male available, the strongest, the one to father the best child.

And I know that in the future we will be able to identify DNA coding that will offer us the ability to select a healthy child by correcting broken DNA. I think that we would be a fool not to use the tools that become available. Why not have an intelligent child with the genetic materials to create a better life for themself and be of good service to mankind. Why would be WANT a child who could develop serious disease, or be of low intelligence, or live a miserable quality of life

2) Everywhere I went I saw cockroaches. Large human sized ones. I think I must have thought everyone I worked with were roaches/or had roach qualities.. yuck
I dreamed I was lost and every where was desolate, misty and I couldn't find anyone. There were no people at all. Everything had been destroyed, wasteland. I was afraid and hunting for someone/anyone. And I have no idea what it means, I'm normally a happy person and find the bright side of everything. Had some bad spicy food I guess.

3) Intelligence is ones ability to learn new things. I personally don't think it is important to measure intelligence, but our society does. I guess in school it could give the teaching staff an opportunity to see if the child does have the natural intelligence to process new or difficult information. In the Peter Principle everyone is promoted until they reach their level on incompetence. So when they reach their level of intelligence they cannot go futher.
And if two species come together ...the more intelligent one has to learn the language of the less intelligent one. My dog understand English but I do not understand Dog. Does that tell you something!
